Gabaky Special Moves - Challenges and Strategies to Master
MOVES UP TO EXPERT LEVEL
Gabaky can be surprising, and with a bit of practice you'll quickly master these expert moves. Opposing gabaky can sometimes get in your way. His techniques could well get you out of trouble.
1. The classic throw
Tips 👉 Roll the ball in your hand to give it a nice spherical shape. Aim straight and throw your ball halfway. With a point of impact a few centimetres before the game board, your ball will roll towards the centre of the target!
2. The roll
The road is clear. Roll your gabaky hard enough to expel your opponent on impact.
Tips 👉 Use this throw to come up against an opponent's ball or use another ball to sneak up on you. Roll the ball well in your hand before throwing it to give it a perfect spherical shape. You can kneel down to roll the ball along the ground from the start.
3. The lead
Tips 👉 Throw the ball high enough so that it doesn't roll too much after landing. Aim to land the ball on the board just before the centre of the target. You can kneel down to make this shot more successful. 🤌 An interesting variation is to flatten your ball like a puck before throwing. Your ball will roll less and stop close to the point of impact.
4. The direct shot
There are a lot of obstacles in front of you. Direct fire can be the solution. Throw your gabakyand try to expel the opposing gabaky with a direct hit.
Tips 👉 Find the right balance between strength and accuracy so that the point of impact is on the opponent's ball with enough power to clear it. This shot is very useful when there are balls in front of the one you want to shoot.
5. Grazing shot
Tips👉The low shot is ideal for clearing a well-placed opponent's ball. Move slightly out of the way so that your arm is in line with the ball to be shot. Don't hesitate to bend your legs to release your shot as close to the ground as possible. Focus on your aim. Shoot hard to get the opponent's ball off the board!
6. Leapfrog
Tips 👉 Become an expert by mastering this Gabaky-specific shot! When bullets are close and in front of the centre of the target, it's often wiser to attempt a leapfrog rather than a shot.
Use a roll shot with the right balance, aiming for the middle between the balls so you can pass over them and get the point!
7. Hat-trick
It's a question of dosage. It's worth a try! Throw your ball hard enough towards another ball. If it stops on it (no longer touches the ground), you've scored a hat-trick. If you land on an opponent's ball that has the point, you steal the show and take the point. If you land on a ball of the same colour that has the point, then it counts double! ✌
Tips 👉 It's easier to land a hat-trick when 3 balls are touching on the board. Perform a leapfrog on the first 2 to land with the right dosage on the 3rd in a hat-trick! 🎩
8. The wave
Tips 👉 The most difficult shot in Gabaky! The wave allows you to get around opposing balls by making a rolled throw with spin. You have to get down on your knees to release the ball as close to the ground as possible. You have to turn your wrist quickly as you release the ball.
9. Gabaky freestyle
The basics of the game with even more fun and creativity. With family or friends. At the start of each round, the starting player can suggest a new rule: throw the ball with your back to the game, play with your wrong hand, throw under your leg, sit down or close your eyes, etc.
